- bright Pomona green blown glass,
- Optic Swirl (rib swirl on base and bowl),
- flat rim / bowl center,
- hollow baluster shaped stem with rings,
- flared base.7” dia, 7” tall.
Condition - excellent, no nicks or repairs. ap65
- Steuben Glass Works, Corning, NY (1903-2012). TG Hawkes and Frederick Carder partnership. Highest quality glass production. F Carder retired as Steuben’s art director in 1933, privately working and experimenting till 1959. After 1933 Steuben was producing only clear art glass products.
- Marks- This acid block letter marking was used 1903-1932, as well as banner lettering with fluer-de-lis.
