Circa 1885 Eastlake Texas longhorn steer horn table, prob Wenzel Friedrich, San Antonio, TX, 14 horns (7 pair), walnut, brown/red Tennessee marble, original glass ball and claw solid brass castors (Tiffany Co-unsigned).

29.5” tall, 32” long, 22” wide. Condition – excellent original, solid, no breaks, repairs or cracks.   1685

- Wenzel Friedrich, 12 Crockett, St, San Antonio, Texas (b1827-d1902) (horn furniture production 1880-1897/last listing), Born in Germany, emigrated to Texas in 1853 to San Antonio, expanded his cabinetmaking business to include horn furniture around 1880. He was awarded several gold medals and awards of merit and sold items worldwide.
- W Friedrich was known to use similar castors as on this table on his furniture and were from Tiffany & Co, NYC.
- There were six known manufacturers of American longhorn steer horn furniture.
This table is Texas steer horn furniture in the late 1800s (later steer horn furniture production moved to Chicago, IL).
